i really don't want to do my two and a half page commentary
on my seamus deane novel 'reading in the dark'.
it may be a winner of several prizes,
but that doesn't mean i want to spend the next thirty two hours of my life
writing about similes, themes, change in tone and the connotations of setting
that are found from page one hundred and thirty three to the end of the chapter.
